And the mommy worries begin!

Today has already been quite the day! I always do my kick counts every morning around 8 or 9 o'clock because that is when the baby is the most active. I have to measure 8 kicks in 2 hours. If I don't get eight, I have to call the doctor immediately. Usually I have them completed in 20 minutes because of how crazy this baby is, but not this morning! I was one o'clock and still no movement. I started getting a little worried so I texted Corey to get his opinion. He said to call the doctor. So very calmly I called and they asked if I could get  to the ultrasound place to get an ultrasound IMMEDIATELY!! They freaked me out so bad and I started crying and worrying so bad! My mom came to pick me up from work (I rode with Shelby) and took me over there. She made me drink a coke and since I haven't had any caffeine since I have been pregnant, so I thought it would make him crazy on the way... it didn't. I was so scared! We got there, I sat down and guess what... he starts movin! Thank goodness! So they did the ultrasound and he REALLY started movin! But even better news is there is a lot of fluid around him, my placenta looks really good, and the cord is in a great place! Not to mention I got to see my baby again! The ultrasound tech said he has the most eyelashes she have ever seen! we have the pictures and I will post em! We could see his face perfectly and he is so adorable! He has long lashes, tons of hair, huge lips, and the cutest little nose I have ever seen! She said I have probably been overdoing it... not a big surprise! But to keep checking on the movement of him. He should still be moving a lot and she said she would rather see me three times a week and not worrying about him.

I think god does crazy things like this to make us have a different outlook! I have been feeling a little worried about becoming a mama because I feel like he has a safe little home in my belly and the world is scary so he should stay inside!! But after seeing his adorable, little, sweet face today, I am so ready to meet him!!! I am ready to have him in my arms where I can see him and kiss him and check on him whenever I want to! The thing I am the MOST EXCITED ABOUT is getting to see Corey hold him! I don't know why, but it makes me so excited and so giddy to think of the love they will have between them! Corey will be such an amazing daddy and I am so excited to see how our little family will grow!

I also realized today how much I love him already and I know that when I get to meet him, I will love him so much more!! So a crazy day makes for good thoughts. Im glad God is taking care of this little guy... he has had a lot of prayers addressed to him about our little boy and his safety and I'm sure he will have tons more! I know I will be the biggest worry wart!

Mommy's Day!

Today was such a good day! Corey woke me up with the cutest mommy-to-be card and a surprise maternity photo shoot for my present. The card was so cute because he wrote it himself and I, of coarse, cried like a baby! We will have to schedule the pictures later and I am super excited! Corey's mamma and nana were in town, so we woke up this morning and went to breakfast. It was great seeing them and getting to spend some time with them! We had a great breakfast at Flying Star (my fave) where we sat outside in the amazing Corrales summer weather! We then said our goodbyes and went to spend the day at my family's house. It was so pretty day! My mom had watched my neice and nephew over night so she was pretty tired! We went for a lil walk and just hung out before going next door to my grandparents.
Mason outside with my mamma. Their yard is so pretty in the summer time!

Mamma and kenny outside on the kids swing. So Cute!!

Just before our walk with the King himself!

The Hohsfield Girls

Our wild family! Love em!

It is days like today that make me realize how truly blessed I am with such an amazing family. I swear sometimes my mom is superwomen. My sister is following right in her footsteps and raising two adorable babies with as much love as she can possibly give them! I only hope I can be half the mamma these two are! I am excited for Kenna to grow up and be a part of the krazy Kocurek girls!

On a different note, I have been trying really hard to keep my eyes open... literally I am that tired! I think this little boy must be growin like a weed because I am so dang tired all the time. I decided today that no matter how tired I feel, I am just going to suck it up because I think I am complaining too much. Hopefully I will feel better this week! I am going to try to take it a little easier with school and such! I love this day so much more than ever because I will soon have a little guy to call me mommy! I can't wait! Here is the giant tummy I am rockin these days:
Life is so good, God is so good!

hmmm... me and third trimester are not friends

Up until now, I have absolutely LOVED being pregnant. I even wondered how anyone could possibly not enjoy this time. I am really hoping that things will go back to normal because this last week has thrown me for a huge loop!!!

So far third trimester for me =

braxton hicks contractions
heavy, tired legs
exhaustion
fat booty
elevated emotions
nausea
bad stomach aches

So positive thinking and lots of prayers that some of these things go away! On a good note, this trimester will also bring this amazing little boy into this world, and how can I complain about that?! I really want him to stay cookin as long as possible so even though I am complaining, he needs to stay in there as long as possible. And I absolutely LOOOOVE feeling him move through the day! I love getting his room ready and day dreaming about him in it!

Life for the Bells

So a little update on our life... we just signed another year of lease at our house. I hate that we live in a rental, but we are so unsure of what the next years of our life are about, that we don't want to buy. However, we are definately installing an alarm ASAP! Our neighborhood has a reputation of being a very safe one, but recently we have had some weird stuff happen. The back of our house backs up to a road that separates Albuquerque from Rio Rancho and I guess there has been a bunch of teenagers that come and park behind our house and then run into our neighborhood and cause trouble. Such as stealing blue dodges like Corey's! So the cops have had to start patrolling the area and parking behind our house, but the problem is that if they see any of these kids, they can't do anything to them in Rio Rancho so they are just getting away when they cross the street. hmmmm..... so we don't like this much! A few of the neighbors have gotten together and switched phone numbers to let each other know what is going on. These are definately things that don't happen in Texas!

Other than that, I am just slowly getting through school. I am so over it! I am just getting so tired so often and being there every day is hard on my body! I have about 400 hours left so I'm hoping to pound it out really quick and be done with a week so spare before this cute little boy gets here! I have less than 12 wks before my due date and I actually feel pregnant for the first time. I know that doesn't make sense, but I am starting to feel all the side effects of pregnancy now... and I'm not so fond of them! My back has been killing me, my butt has definately gotten bigger, and I had my first really emotional day the other day! Even though these things have kicked in, I would take them any day if it meant I could be this little boy's mamma! Corey is starting to realize it too I think because he keeps saying random things that I usually am saying like, "can you believe we are going to have a baby boy in less than three months?" Its so crazy and so exciting! I know the next couple months are going to come so fast and I feel like we still have so much to work on! This feels like such a crazy adventure God has put us on!

This last sunday was so much fun! It was a rainy, gloomy day and my mom, sister, and I worked a wedding in the morning at the Tamaya. We then had a good lunch and came home to my cute hubby, carl, and the babies. My dad was unfortunately in DC for work and we missed him! We all just hung out inside and we had so much fun! Mason is such a cute age right now! He is so silly and says the cutest things! It was a great day with the fam! We are excited about what God has in store for us! It is so weird to look around and see the life we are in. I heard a quote yesterday that said, "If you want to hear God laugh, tell him your life plans!" I think this is so unbelievably accurate for me! It is very strange right now to sit back and let him take the reins! I'm not sure I know how to relax yet and let him do his thing, but I am workin on it! God it good!
